George Myers' Obituary
George Clarence Myers Born Duvall, WA 11-25-1920 Died Bothell, WA 6-28-2012.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Myers, and his four children by his previous wife, Marilyn Hinkle McGlashan: Pamela Myers, Lynneth Martinez, Rick Myers, and John Myers. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
After serving in the Marine Corps during WW II in the South Pacific, George worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for 33 years.
He was an avid sports fan (he was the captain of his high school basketball team at Morton HS). He also loved working in his garden. His inventiveness, his sense of humor and most of all, his great love for his family will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Memorial services to be held on Tuesday, July 10th at 11:00 AM. Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499; with Marine Honor Guard at graveside and reception immediately following.
