George Henry Noel's Obituary
Geo. Henry Noel, 89, of Sumner, WA joined his wife of 62 years, Dorothy, in Heaven on Friday, December 13, 2002. Henry was born February 25, 1913 in Hill City, Kansas, but moved west at an early age. He graduated from Valley High School in Menlo, WA in 1930 and went to work as a Â"cheese-makerÂ" for Darigold. After managing the cheese-making operations in Randle, WA, he retired from Darigold in 1945 and became a Â"line-manÂ" for the Lewis County P. U. D., Chehalis, WA, retiring from there as a Foreman in 1975 with 30 years service. After traveling extensively for many years, in 1990 he started his final career as facility manager for Powers Funeral Home in Orting, WA, retiring in 1999. Henry was a life-long member of the Assemblies of God Church and a 50 year member of IBEW. He loved hunting, fishing, cribbage, and helping others. Dorothy preceded him in death in 1996.He is survived by his special friend, Ruth DoolFour Sons:Larry L. Noel and wife Marilyn of Bellevue, WA, Lewis R. Noel and wife Gail of Reno, NV, James H. Noel and wife Cherry of Tacoma, WA, Steven L. Noel and wife Cheryl of Centralia, WAA Sister: Mrs. Lawrence (Dode) Finsen of Oroville, WATwo Brothers: Wilford Noel and wife Marge of Bothell, WA, Victor Noel and wife Tuni of Oroville, WA9 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandson and a host of family and friends. There will be a viewing on Monday December 16, 2002 at 11am to 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2002 in the Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA, with interment following Mountain View Memorial Park.
