George Robert (Bob) ERICKSON
Passed away peacefully on December 27, 2014 at age 87. George was born in Seattle, WA on November 17,1927. Graduated from Lincoln HS Tacoma. Served in the Merchant Marines & US Army in post-war Japan. Returned to Tacoma to start a family & a long career with the City of Tacoma, Public Works. He will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Dorthy; by sons Steven, Robert & Mark; daughters Jeanne (Ken), Clare (Rod), grandchildren Erik, Meghan, Darby, Andrew, Peter, Mariah, & great-grandson Jace.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity. A private service is planned. A memorial gathering will be held @ Highlands Golf Club, 1400 Highlands Pkwy, Tacoma on Jan. 9 (2:30-5 PM). All friends invited.
