Georgia P. (Bud) Christiansen
Bud passed away peacefully on June 17th 2017 at the age of 94. He was born Feb 17th 1923 in John Day, Oregon. He joined the US Army in 1943 during World War 2. Later he transferred to the US Air Force and served in Korea and England, where he met his wife Beryl (Rowland). He retired from service in 1970. He became a barber,working at Sam's Barber Shop in University Place, then owned his own shop, George's until his retirement in 1987.
He is survived by his wife Beryl of 65 years. Sons Paul (Sheila), Bryan (Eileen) and Darrell. Daughters Julie (Jim) and Janice and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bud and Beryl were members of the Romin Tacomans Square Dance Club for many years, and are active members at St. Albans Anglican Church. Bud did volunteer work at the V.A. Hospital in Lakewood for 17 years. He was an avid golfer and pinochle player,and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
