George "Keoki" Aguillon's Obituary
George Aguillon, a devoted soldier, martial artist, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully in Tacoma, Washington, on August 25, 2025, at the age of 97. Born in Ewa, Hawaii, on March 21, 1928, George lived a life marked by discipline, service, and passion.
George proudly served in the United States Army for 28 years, rising to the esteemed rank of Master Sergeant. His dedication to his country was matched by his commitment to the communities he lived in, where he was a familiar and beloved presence.
Outside of his military career, George found joy in bowling, participating in numerous leagues and forming lasting friendships along the way. His love for martial arts was profound—he was a pioneer of Judo in Washington State and held a 7th Degree Blackbelt. His accomplishments extended to Jiu Jitsu, where he earned an 8th Degree Blackbelt, competing and teaching with the same integrity and strength that defined his life.
George will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Florence, on September 27, 2025, continuing their journey together in eternal peace. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
His legacy of service, strength, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of many.
