Lillie and family,
I was saddened to learn of Gene's passing and feel so bad that I couldn't be at his memorial service due to being in California at the time.
My sincere sympathy extends to all of his family and loved ones. I pray for your comfort and peace knowing that he is with the Lord and all was well with his soul.

We are so happy we at least got to know Gene a little bit when he came to Temecula to see Norm and Patricia. His legacy will live on in all the people he influenced throughout his life. We would love to read both of his books.

Dearest Lillie, Patricia, Mike and Douglas...Gina and I so grieve for you in "our" loss. My nostalgia-meter is off the charts in this time. You all mean so much to me.
