Moreland was born on April 16, 1942 in Astoria, OR, and passed away after battling cancer on July 2, 2003 in Tacoma, WA.Gene was a realtor for many years and recently with Vanderpool Reality. He was also an active member of the Eagles and VFW Post #1.He is survived by his beloved Patti; brother, Gary Moreland; sister, Margene Devine; son, Jason Moreland; and nephew, Tim (Debbie) Vik. Gene was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with graveside services following at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at Mt. View Memorial Park.
