Gemma Sayson Ensoy's Obituary
Gemma “Geng” Sayson Ensoy has joined her husband and the Lord on December 19, 2022
Born on January 22, 1965, in Leyte, Philippines to Melchor and Bonafacia Sayson.
She attended Holy Child High School, graduated where she would continue her education to pursue employment in an industry that would highlight her qualities and characteristics that made her loved by all those she met.
Later in life, she would find Tacoma, Washington as her home alongside her husband Gracioso “Gary” Ensoy, driven and encouraged by family members at home and abroad. Although she was surrounded by family literally and figuratively stateside, she always made sure that she kept in touch with family and friends in the Philippines. A proud Filipina, wife, and mother until the end of time.
As time went by, Gemma grew from being a stay at home “homemaker” to eventually becoming a certified Caregiver of the elderly and in need once her only child grew up and left the nest. Gemma went above and beyond for her family and friends. Her gentle nature, kindness, and selflessness shone in all aspects of how she held herself in public but was true to her character as it did not change even when those were not around. A holy woman in all facets, her faith in the Lord guided her in all her decisions throughout the course of her fulfilling life.
She is survived by her only son, Joshua, her daughter-in-law, Jaylene, her granddaughter, Aria as well as her sisters Teodora, Consuelo, Macedonia and Victoria, her brothers Noel and Alberto & numerous family members that span the globe near and far.
