Gayle R Medley's Obituary
Gayle Medley, born May 24, 1938 in Tacoma, WA, passed away April 9, 2010 in University Place, WA. Gayle graduated from Stadium High School in 1956 and attended Washington State College. Gayle was an avid Husky Football fan and attended every home game for the last 25 years. She also enjoyed time with her family when they wintered in Sun Valley, Idaho. Gayle was a Charter Member of the Lillian Shotwell Orthopedic Guild and was active in the Junior League.
Gayle is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael H. Medley, son Gregory Medley, daughter Michelle (Ryan) Gervais, three grandchildren, Joel Medley, Jack Gervais, Sam Gervais, and her first granddaughter, Madison Gervais, who is due in May 2010, and her brother Walter Knott of Vermont. Gayle is also survived by her beloved dogs Charlie and Cindy. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Lillian Knott and her sister Barbara Howe.
A memorial service to celebrate Gayle's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 15, 2010 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA.
