Gay Irene Kalning's Obituary
Gay Irene Kalning, 79, of Tacoma WA, passed away on Sunday October 1, 2023. She was the daughter of Beatrice L. & Albert M. Kalning.
Gay was born a twin and was brought into this world with special needs. She was one of eight children. She had a love for all animals and loved growing up with a pet dog. She loved to tell stories about King & Duke. She enjoyed doing bead-work, coloring, listening to music, and playing games with all her nieces and nephews.
Gay is survived by two sisters, Darlene Allshouse & Fay Brett, and many nieces and nephews.
Gay was preceded in death by her mother and father, two sisters Betty Whitson and Carol Wieler, and three brothers, Albert (Bo) Kalning, Gene Kalning, Richard Kalning, and a very special auntie, Mildred Johnson.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 29th at Mountain View Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 30th @ 11:00am in the Garden Chapel. There will be a graveside service afterwards.
