Gary Wayne Sweers' Obituary
Gary Wayne Sweers, 62, was born in Tacoma, WA on February 4, 1951 and passed away December 19, 2013.
Gary graduated from Tacoma's Lincoln High School in 1969. He was a proud niner.
He worked at Hygrades, NAPA Auto parts and Lincare and was also a member of the Tacoma Totem -Aires.
Gary square danced over 30 years with various clubs in Tacoma, and Olympia. Played wheel chair basketball in the 70's and 80's with the Tacoma Wheelers; Puyallup Fair canning champion and bowled for many years.
Thank yous to Dr. Weathersby, Dr. Martin and Dr. Richardson for their care of him and the staff of St. Joe's Hospital during his illness.
Predeceased by his infant son, Vaughn Kenneth, his father Harry, infant brother Stephen and his first wife Rose.
Survived by his wife Cheryl, father and mother-in-law , Ken and Verna Rosenberg, brothers-in-law Emil(Joann) Rosenberg and his family, Dave(Carrie) and his family and by his mother, brother and sister and their families. Also survived by his Uncle Ben(Ingrid) and his family.
His best friends Diane and Donna and his partner in crime Ferrel and his friends at the aficionado cigar bar and many more.

In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made to the Franciscan Hospice House or a charity of your choice in Gary's name .
A celebration of Gary's life will be held on June 18th, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 at Waller Road Grange, 2708 64th St. E, Tacoma, WA 98404.
