My name Robbie Nichols. Gary was my scput master. I remember many hikes to the sulfer minds. Crossing over that glacier fed river. Trying hard not to be knocked over by the current. Made it all but one time. Lol, that glacier is a site i wish all could see. We will all miss you Gary. Gary please help our creator wash over us all? Hope to see you and our Lord again some day. You'll always be missed.
Gary was my friend. He gave me solace when none could be found. I look forward to see him and the Loring family again, especially Tommy.

Gary was my friend. He helped me earn my Eagle Scout and provided me a place to keep out of trouble in some tough years of my life. I owe him more then can be written. He was great man and is missed.
Gary will be missed. It was always great to sit down and listen to him recall what friends were doing in their lives and the stories of years past. I too was one of those Eagle Scouts who owes so much to him. Godspeed my friend. We will meet again one day and I want you to update me on the latest since we last talked.
Being one of Gary's Eagle scouts is a great honor that I will always cherish. My son earned his eagle this past winter .What a great legacy to pass on . We have yet to have the court of honor but I will be able to pass on one of my silver dollars to my son .what a great tradition that Gary started so many years ago.
