Gary was perhaps one of the most kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. That family was always there for me when I was a teen after I had joined Rainbow and befriended his daughter Kristine at age 13. Kristine and I would always hang out and are still close friends to this day. In fact I consider this family part of my own. As I look back at those times in my life and some of the hi-jinx that kids often get into, he would just give that look vs lecturing or completely losing it like some parents often do. It's like he just understood that kids are kids and often times would just laugh at or with us. He was like a 2nd Dad to me and I will always appreciate him and Irene's kindness...truly truly Great parents...and Grandparents.
Gary was one who would go with the flow of life and didn't sweat the small stuff. I could honestly never tell when that man was upset as he was always charming, loving and kind. He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I have ever known and tirelessly gave so much of himself to everyone and anything he believed in. There were a few times that I had the pleasure of attending Eastern Star events with Kristine, Gary and Irene. Gary was always very dapper in his suit or tux and a total gentlemen and professional in his position(s). When the times were a little more relaxed he was very funny and could take things with a grain of salt. I wish more people were like that...the world would be such a better place.
Gary was really an overall beautiful, intelligent and incredible human being and what a tragic loss to everyone that had the pleasure of having him in their lives. He will be missed very much by so many.
Much Love,
