Garth L. Judd
Garth L. Judd passed away July 9, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years Kazuko, his daughters Sharon Wilson (Larry), Diane Andersen (Steve), his son Gary Judd (Donna) and their children Kevin Wilson, Dawn (Wilson) Duran, Scott Andersen, Lindsey (Andersen) Jahner, Christopher Judd, Andrew Judd and 5 great-grandchildren. Garth was born in Pima, AZ., moving to Southern Oregon in 1940 with his 7 brothers and sisters. He joined the army in 1946 and served in Japan as a firefighter where he met his lifelong partner Kazuko. He was stationed in several parts of the country and retired after 22 years in 1968 settling in Tacoma, WA. He attended school to become an electrician and worked for Pacific Lutheran University until retiring in 1990. In retirement, Garth traveled, fished, crabbed and RV'd, but the thing he loved best was spending time with his family. He was the best father, grandfather and friend and gave of his time freely and with love. A Memorial will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Mountain View Funeral Home at 1:00 pm in the Aspen Chapel, reception following. Private interment at Tahoma National Cemetery.
