Dear Kathy and family,
When my grandson, Luke, was 5 I would pick him up from kindergarten and he would sing this song on our way home.
"Heaven is a wonderful place
Filled with glory and grace
I want to see my saviours face
Because Heaven is a beautiful, Heaven is a glorious,
Heaven is a wonderful place."
We can only imagine, but Garland can see, feel and experience the love, joy and excitement of Heaven. I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore, but, I'm very sad for the suffering you are going through.
I remember when Garland called us in Montana to tell us he had married and he was excited for us to meet, not only his beautiful wife, but, the two adorable boys that came with her. He became an instant father and he was proud and happy. He was really proud when Lisa came along. Mostly we (Pat, Mike, Mark and myself) remember Garland as a kind, wonderful, fun to be around, person. I was looking forward to seeing you both at the cousins luncheon but now I look forward to seeing Garland in Heaven.
God has a purpose for you, yet, I know the pain is great. God will be with you, He won't lift you out of the pain, but, He will walk you through it and when necessary, carry you. He loves you, we all love you. Anytime you need to talk, or cry, of just have a friend to hold your hand, call, I'll always be here for you. Love Jo Ann##imported-begin##Jo Ann Knight##imported-end##
