Fredrick Jones' Obituary
Charles (also known to some as CJ, Chuck or Deacon Jones) was born on May 5, 1967 in Oak Ridge, Louisiana to Lottie Jones and Samuel Reese. He graduated from Bastrop High School and at the age of 18, he relocated from Louisiana to Washington state where he started his family and career.
Charles attended Renton Technical College and obtained his welding certification. After obtaining his welding certificate, he started his career with Boeing where he spent 12 years. Then he found his forever job at NorthStar Ice Equipment where he worked for 21 years as a shop foreman.
Charles enjoyed cooking and grilling. He enjoyed building things like bbq grills, speaker boxes and more. He enjoyed welding not only as his day job, but he would do welding projects for friends and family. His passion was crappie fishing on his boat. He enjoyed playing softball and basketball. And of course, we can’t forget about his favorite sport teams – the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Lakers.
Charles was first and foremost a man of God. He was ordained as a Deacon at his home church, Bethany Church of Christ Holiness. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather. Charles loved his family very much and he loved helping anyone who crossed his path.
On Thursday, June 29th Charles departed this life with his mother, wife, and children by his side. He was preceded in death by his father Samuel Reese, Grandparents Louis and Rosie Jones, and Brother Dale Louis “Head” Jones. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Lottie Turntine; wife, Andrea; and his beautiful legacy (his children): Ashley (Kortez), Antoine (Britteni), Kristen, Fredrick Charles (Chucky), Tatiana, Alayna and his bonus daughter/niece, Myah.
