Frederick D. Brown's Obituary
Frederick "Fred" Daniel Brown, was born June 14, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington and died July 24, 2016 at the age of 73.
Loved by all, his infectious smile and sense of humor will be missed by everyone. If you were a friend of Fred’s, you were a friend for life and if you were part of his family, you were loved and cared for unconditionally.
Fred graduated from Lincoln HS in 1961. He attended Olympic College, served in the Army, the Peace Corp and worked for City of Tacoma for 25 years. He also coached baseball for the Boy’s Club and volunteered at Veteran’s Golf Course and Lincoln Alumni Committee. He loved and lived life to the fullest.
Fred is survived by his adored wife Donna; his daughter Laurie (Robb); step-daughter Shelley (Tony); 4 grandchildren: Jeff, Mickal, Erika and Valerie; great-grandson Jayden; sisters Netty and Janet (Jim) and other family members. Fred was preceded in death by his first wife Sharon.
A celebration of Fred’s life will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 2:00-4:30 p.m., at Star Center, Journey North Hall, 3873 S. 66th, Tacoma, 98409. Bring a dish to share and your Fred stories!
