Fred Irvin Swarthout's Obituary
Fred was born on April 20, 1931 in Sumner, WA. He was a home town boy and never lived
Out of the area for any extended time the entirety of his 93 years.
He attended Washington State University
Where he played football and earned a degree in physical education. After graduation,
Fred served in the US Army and the Army reserves before embarking on a successful career
As a realtor and owned his own Century 21 office in Bonney Lake for many years.
Fred was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time in his vegetable
Garden. He was a generous, kind hearted man, always ready with a smile and a helping hand.
Fred is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kay as well as children Mike, Jeff, Venetia and Scott.
He was pre-deceased by his son Brian. Fred also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 10 great
Grandchildren and our beloved Cody who pre-deceased him.
Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love for family, the outdoors
And his community will live on in the hearts of all of those who were fortunate to know him.
