Dearest Family: I don't know what to say other than the shock I feel to know that Fred is gone. I had seen him only two weeks before his passing. My fiance and I dropped off some paper work for the re-finance on our house. We sat for some time just talking and catching up. Fred really had a fondness for my daughter Shiraya and knew her when she was just a baby of three. Now she's 14! I had promised to bring her over the next time we visited but who knew he would not be there...I do not know you (the family) but I send prayers of strength and comfort your way. May God send His angels of mercy to enable you to heal and remember Fred without the pain of loss but with the joy of remembering in fondness and love and may He do so quickly. In that prayer I will place my grief also.

My brother was always there for me. No matter the distance, somehow he knew he should call me. I will miss him terribly. He was bigger than life to me, and my only regret is that I did'nt get to say good-by. Thank you all for sharing your relationships with my brother. It gives me and my siblings an opportunity to know him and to love him even more. August 28th will forever be a holiday for me. It's the day I was blessed with a real live angel. Although I never had a chance to meet you, Fred often spoke about you, as he was doing a re-finance for me. I only met him a few years ago, through Karolyn,
but like Mr. Wilfong stated..his smile will live on in the lives of the many people he came in contact with. He was a very likable person with a great personality, and he will surely leave a void in the lives of all those who truly knew him. I feel honored to have had a chance to meet Fred.
