Fred M SepicFred M. Sepic , age 87, died February 5, 2004 following a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Fred was born in Matulia (Austria) Yugoslavia in 1917 and came to America through Ellis Island when he was 14 years of age. He then settled in California and later moved to Tacoma where he resided until his death.He owned the Jeri-Lin Apartments in Tacoma and was Co-owner of Sepic Electric, a well established furniture and appliance store. In 1969 he retired and for many years he and his wife Florene traveled back and forth to Arizona during the winters.He is survived by his wife, Florene of 64 years, his son F. Thom (Wendy) Sepic, daughter Linda K (Bill) Fischer and daughter Jeri J. (Glen) Blankenship all of Tacoma. He is also survived by grandchildren: Gayla Barton, Chris Bowlin, Jason Bowlin, Justine Ziemer, Jeff Blankenship step grandchildren Kelly Fejeran and Julie Detweiler, and one great grandson Nick Barton. He has numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley and sister Fannie.Following the private family graveside on Saturday, February 7 at 12:30 PM at Mt View there will be a celebration of his life at Puyallup Nazarene Church at 2:00PM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, AlzheimerÂ's Assn or Franciscan Hospice of Tacoma.
