Frans Welter Doelman, age 84, born on 3/30/1933 in Brussels, Belgium, and passed away on 3/18/2018 in Lakewood, WA. Frans was born to Johanna Cornelia Doelman & Franciscus Welter. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Han Read Obituary

Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family during this difficult hour. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek, blessing you with the precious memories of Frans. I was honored to serve with Frans at McChord AFB as an ART during the time
he also served as Chief Navigator of the 446th MAW.
Frans was a dear friend and I always enjoyed flying with him at McChord. I first met Frans at Yokota AB, Japan when I was a 2nd Lt. and he reached out to me at the Officer Club. I later became a christian and also attended Christ Lutheran because of my friendship with Frans. He will always be in my fondest memories and especially loved hearing his story about being a POW in the Pacific.
I regret not being able to attend his memorial as I now live in Colorado and will be be gone on a family gathering in Indiana.
