Franklin Dale SharpnackFranklin known by his friends and family as Frank passed away early Thursday morning on August 15, 2002 while sleeping. Although Frank was born and raised in Ohio, he resided in the Northwest since being assigned to Fort Lewis in 1963. Frank served 23 years in the United States Army and was a Viet Nam veteran.Frank and his wife Marcelle, who he met while stationed in France, settled and raised their 5 children in the Spanaway area. His lifeÂ's passion was his wife, children, grandchildren, his dogs and the Cleveland Indians.Frank maintained a close relationship with his older brother Bob who resided in Kent. Frank was a hard working, kind hearted man, who will be missed by all who knew him.A graveside ceremony to celebrate FrankÂ's life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at 10:30 am at Tahoma National Cemetery, with full Military Honors, 18600 SE 240th St. Kent, WA 98042.
