Franklin (Frank) Powell's Obituary
Frank graced this earth surrounded by his parents in the commonwealth of Virginia on August 4, 1926.
When he reached the age of consent, he joined the United States Military and served in Army for more than twenty years. He served willingly and honorably.
He enjoyed his military career and he traveled throughout Europe and most of the continental United States.
Frank left a legacy of giving to the needy and disenfranchised. However, his passion was the Buffalo Soldiers Museum to which he contributed. He was also passionate about giving to the local Christian organizations for the furtherance of Christ's Kingdom.
Frank leaves to morn and celebrate his home-going his wife Elnora Powell; his two sons Dwayne Powell and Romell Powell; Grandchildren Omari Rommel Powell, and Jahari Jamaal Powell; Step-son Marcus Moore; and his special friends Mr. Wallace and SueNell.
Frank is loved and will be sorely missed. He was our Rock and Foundation.
