Frank J.P. Lipera's Obituary
Frank J. P. Lipera Born May 20, 1919 in Tacoma, WA to parents Sam and Anna Lipera. Passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on March 26, 2008. Frank lived in Tacoma all his life. Frank is survived by his two daughters, Judy (Jim) Forsman and Janis (Michael) Moffett, 3 grandchildren, Kim Forsman, Lisa Mendez, Shelly (Bryan) Harris, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma and grandson Todd Musselman. Frank worked his way through the ranks at Tacoma City Light to supervisor of overhead lines, and retired in 1982 after 37 years. He loved to work in his garden and to can fruit and vegtables in the basement. He loved his family and friends very much. The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to his caregivers, Claudia, Gail, April and Marcy, who made it possible for him to remain at home. There will be a viewing from 2 pm to 9 pm Sunday, March 30, 2008. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31, 2008 at 3 pm in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
