Frank M Hayden's Obituary
Frank M. Hayden was born in Somerset, KY on March 24, 1926 to the late Eugene Hayden and Lossie G. Williams. Frank graduated from Dunbar High School, Dayton, Ohio, where he met and married Vivian B. Lewis. To this union were born Michael L. Hayden (Frances) Toledo, OH, Constance H. Hickman, Dayton, OH, and Janice McFarland (Long Beach, CA).
Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam. He later met and married Berta Steiner from Ludwigsburg, Germany, and made Lakewood, WA home.
Having accepted the Lord at an early age, Frank devoted his life to helping others and the underserved. He served as the Tillicum VFW 2329 Chaplain for 41 years.
Frank was preceded in death by Berta (Betty) Hayden, Raymond Hayden (brother), Lossie Williams and Eugene Hayden. He is survived by his 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 Thursday, June 25, at Tillicum Baptist Church, followed by a graveside committal service with military honors at Mountain View Memorial Park.
