Frank Dubrasky's Obituary
Frank Dubrasky "Master Mechanic" was born on August 12, 1918 and passed on October 3, 2013, at the great age of 95 to be with his Angel on Earth, his beloved wife Nora.
Frank worked as a machinist for Johnson Bronze Works in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and as a truck driver for Metro Parks Tacoma from 1955 until his retirement in 1980. Upon his retirement he worked on the cars of many park district employees and friends and neighbors.
Frank and Nora traveled to Pennsylvania 26 summers in a row to visit with friends and family. They were married for 60 years and were equal partners who cherished each other in good times and in bad. Frank is preceded in death by his wife Nora, their beloved son Paul, his parents, his brothers and sisters. Frank is survived by nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by those who loved him until the end. Frank lived at Manor Care Nursing Home for the last 2 ½ years of his life. He was treated with love and respect by his compassionate care-takers and nurses until he took his last breath.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on October 19, 2013, 2 pm, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 101 East 38th Street, Tacoma.
