Frank Donald Reed's Obituary
Don was born to Frank and Marjorie Reed in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and was the oldest of 13 children. He lived most of his life in the Tacoma area. Don retired from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1987, where he worked as an engineer in the Planning Department. He also founded Reed Graphics along with Barb, his wife of 45 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, willingness to lend a helping hand, and easy smile. Don married Luisita Montero in 1999. They moved full-time to her beautiful native country of Costa Rica in 2005, where he enjoyed soaking up the sun and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife Luisita, his four children, Dale (Jeanine), Rick (Yvonne), Teresa (Russ), Don, ten grandchildren, and ten of his siblings.
A celebration of his life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Celebration of Life Chapel on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 2:00 PMEwith a viewing from 1:00 to 1:45PM.
