Mrs. Brannon was always very special to me. I grew up on Dooley Dr. and I remember always being welcome in her home when I came over to play with Rick. Always sunny and happy, she brought us all a lot of joy. When my home life was tumultuous, she offered me sanctuary in her home. That is something I’ll always remember with gratitude.
May she rest in peace and live in the memories of those who loved her.##imported-begin##Jeff Stein##imported-end##

I write this with sorrow and joy. Sorrow for the loss many are feeling as a result of Gram's passing. I know that it is having a deep impact. The joy I feel comes from the serenity of knowing that she is where she has longed to be, with the love of her life, her husband. Her job is done here on earth. She has supported, enriched, and enlightened her family, friends, and the patrons of the North Shore Grocery for many years. Now, it is time for her.
Gram has touched me in a unique way. She reinforced in my life the importance of family; the necessity of laughter; and the significance of remaining active in body, mind, and spirit. I feel blessed having known her. Thank you Gram for being the strong, resilient, independent woman that you were. You will be missed.##imported-begin##Kelly Lorton##imported-end##
