Francis W. Moore
Born July 15, 1929 in Wyalusing, Wisconsin and passed away May 7, 2015. In 1947, Francis enlisted in the Army, and proudly served his country for 22 years, retiring in 1971. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Dad also says he was in WWII, due to the fact that he was shot in Okinawa. Francis is survived by his 3 children James Werner, Janett Moore and Shirley Bizub and his brother Lowell; along with 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Francis was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn, his parents, 2 brothers and a sister. Francis kept active in the community by volunteering at FOE 2933, ALVA, Trout Unlimited, and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 91. You may never know how much you have touched our hearts. We love you and will miss you. We salute you.
Memorial service 1pm Thursday, May 28 in the Garden Chapel, followed by a graveside service with military honors. After the services, a reception will be held at FOE Lodge 2933 in Tacoma.
