Francis LeRoy Dameron's Obituary
CMSGT Francis (Frank) LeRoy Dameron US Airforce Ret., 71 departed this life 2 June 2015. He was born 3 August 1943 in Wichita, Kansas to Donald Dameron and Bernice D (Morris) Dameron, who both preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by sons Roger LeRoy Dameron and Troy Lee Dameron.
He is survived by former spouses Donna and Perla; children Debra Kay Dameron, Carrie Lynn Dameron, Angelina (Angie) Marquez Starks, Jerry Marquez Dameron, Francis Anthony Dameron and Kathy Angela Dameron. He is also survived by brother Richard Reams and sister Rita Gray of Fayetteville, Georgia and sister Cheri Robertson of Wichita, Kansas, 17 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends around the world.
Frank entered the Air Force soon after high school rapidly earning his stripes and moving up the ranks quickly to Chief Master Sergeant. He served for more than 27 years of notorious service with numerous awards and metals including multiple overseas postings.
After retiring from the military Frank enjoyed numerous hobbies including genealogy, computers, working in the yard, and all things mechanical. But his favorite activities always involved family, especially his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home. A service of Interment will follow, with military honors, 12:30.pm. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. Arrangements entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Home of Lakewood, WA.
