Frances M. Bucknell's Obituary
Frances left us to join Jim, her husband of nearly 50 years on October 12, 2015. Born in Tenino to Arthur and Leota Erickson on February 21, 1928 she grew up in Olympia happily raising the many orphaned wild animals her game protector father brought home. She married her childhood sweetheart following graduation from Olympia High School in 1946. After 40 years living in Lakewood they returned to their family and friends in Olympia in 1991 where Jim passed away in 1996. She is survived by one daughter, Kristine (Thomas) Moran of Shelton, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, lifelong friend Bev McBroom, and special friend Irv Dellinger. The funeral and internment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Garden Chapel in Lakewood on Wednesday, October 21. Viewing will be from 12 to 1:00 PM, funeral at 1:00, and internment at 2:30. There will be a memorial gathering at Colonial Estates Community Center at 4:00 PM. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
