Frances A. Burke's Obituary
Frances A. Burke was born July 10, 1920 to Horace and Lucille (Pearce) Smith on Vashon Island. On September 14, 2005, she passed away at the Regency of Tacoma. She was very proud of being a 1939 graduate of Stadium High School. She married Patrick C. Burke in Tacoma in 1946.Frances is survived by her husband Patrick; son Gary Burke; daughter Nancy (Arthur) Tim; grandchildren Alec, Ross, and Michelle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.She enjoyed golf and was a member of the Steilacoom Golf Club. She enjoyed many years as a homemaker and worked for the Tacoma Prosecuting AttorneyÂ's office as a clerical worker. Her greatest loves in life were her husband, children and grandchildren.A memorial service will be at 12:00 PM, Friday, Sept 23, 2005 in the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center, with a reception to follow.
