Forence H. Boyle's Obituary
Born May 27, 1904 in Steilacoom, WA to Petrena and Albert Malone. The oldest of 8 children, they moved to Tacoma in 1906 where she lived until her death on Feb. 14, 2005. She went to join her beloved husband, Russell, to whom she was married almost 70 years. She is survived by 2 sisters, Anna OÂ'Neill and Evelyn Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was active in sports in her earlier years and belonged to many clubs, such as Presidents Counsel, U. P. S. WomenÂ's Club, and the Kiwanis Ladies Downtown Club, where she served as president. She was also a member of the Girl Scouts and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Tacoma for 80 years.Florence worked at Brown and Haley Candy Company for 42 years. Florence had a long, full life, and will be missed by her family and friends.Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2005 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 19, 2005 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
