Foiatu Timali, Jr.'s Obituary
Foiatu Timali, Jr.
Foiatu (Foi), 32, passed away unexpectedly on Sat., Aug. 2, 2008. Preceded by his father, Foiatu Timali, Sr., leaves to cherish his memory his mother Vaiese Timali, wife Dorea Timali, and children Faatui, Foiatu, and Tineilealofisa (Tinei). Foi was born in American Samoa on July 15, 1976. He came to the United States in 1980. Graduated from Lincoln HS in 1995. He met his wife that summer, and they have been together ever since. Foi and his family were active members of their church, mentoring at-risk youth. He was a role model on and off the football field, encouraging those around him to do better than their best. His friends greatly outnumbered his family. He had a way of drawing people in and making them feel like family. He will be remembered mostly for his sense of humor and making people laugh. The testimony of his life will continue to encourage all the lives he touched in his short time with us. We will love you always, until we meet again on the golden streets of Heaven. Memorial service will be held on Sun., Aug. 10, 2008 3pm in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel. Service will be held in the Aspen Chapel 11am Monday. Viewings 10am-9pm Thurs. - Sat. Come celebrate his life with us.
