Floyd SandersFloyd Sanders was born May 2, 1947 in Tupelo, Mississippi to James Walter Sanders and Lee Ila Sanders. He was raised in St. Louis, Missouri and lived there until he joined the United States Army. He served his country for 23 years that included tours in Germany and Korea, before retiring in 1988. He then entered Civil Service where he worked for DEH Grounds, Madigan Grounds, and finally his favorite position Ft. Lewis Pest Control Division. He was a tireless and dedicated worker who took pride in anything he put his hands on. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 27 years, Yong Sin Sanders, and his 3 sons Michael 33, David 23, and Matthew 18. He also leaves behind his brother James Sanders and his sister Druhellun Sharp, as well as several other family members and friends. Floyd was an outgoing and loving man that touched everyone that had the pleasure of being around him. His magnetic spirit and love of life made him a man that will be hard to forget. His memories will be treasured and his warmth will be felt forever. A viewing will be held on Monday, August 16, 2004 from 3-9PM at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 3:00PM in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
