Flossie E. Pickle's Obituary
Flossie Pickle, age 95, joined her beloved husband Cleo in the presence of their Lord and Savior on June 29, 2008. She was born August 17, 1912 in Riverside, WA to Clarence and Estella Cook. She was the second of two children. She lived in Eastern Washington, where she attended school and met Cleo Pickle, and was married July 8, 1930. They raised their family in Puyallup, later moving to Tacoma. She loved gospel and country music. She spent her spare time sewing, crocheting, and embroidering. She thrived on serving others in a loving way, and was active in her senior center for years. Her 2 sons and 3 of her grandchildren preceded her in death. She leaves behind her 2 daughters, Margaretta Hardin of Tacoma, Nancy Perry of Neilton, WA, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Memorial service will be held Tues., 7/8/2008 at 11:00am in the Mountain View Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood. Viewing will be Mon., 7/7/2008 from 2-9pm at Mountain View Funeral Home.
