Florence Muckian passed away on July 3, 2005.She was born Florence Marie Yunk in Algoma, Wisconsin on March 27, 1924.Married to James Henry Muckian on June 10, 1942 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Algoma, WI. Together they raised three sons: Samuel John, Patrick Joseph and Bruce James.Florence passed away peacefully in her sleep during the morning of July 3rd. Husband James preceded her in death on January 13, 1997, as did son Samuel on February 14, 1981.Florence is survived by her brother in Algoma, Wishconsin, Eugene (and June) Younk, and in Washington state by son Patrick (and Ardith), son Bruce (and Kathleen), granddaughters Cherie and Stephanie (and Karl), grandsons James and Brian (and Marvy). She is great-grandmother to Tyler, Jakob, Garrett, Tanner, Jay, Isaac and Danny.Florence is much loved and will be missed by her family, extended family and dear friends. She will always be remembered with smiles and laughter, and above all, love.Viewing will be from 12:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Mt. View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2005 in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in the names of Florence M. Muckian, James H. Muckian and Samuel J. Muckian to St. Joseph Medical Center, 1717 South J Street, Tacoma, WA 98405.
