Florence Holloway's Obituary
Florence A. Frick Holloway As she was being hugged by her family, Florence passed away peacefully into the Lord's arms on January 11, 2014. She was born in Duluth, MN on April 29, 1924 to Marion and Theodore Pearson. She moved to Tacoma at the age of 6, and graduated from Stadium High School in 1942. Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands Russell Frick and Edward Holloway, her sister Geraldine Beers-Haynes, and brother Theodore Pearson, Jr. (Ted-Ted). Mom is survived by her children Karen Kuhne (Ron), Roger, Elizabeth, and Randle. She leaves behind her beloved "dividends," 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who will miss her hugs forever. Services for Flo are at 12pm Friday, January 17th, in the Mountain View Garden Chapel, with reception following at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tacoma.
