Memories of Flo Grimit include her ballroom dancing and her smile and friendliness,
Dancing the tango seemed to be her favorite and a dance in which she excelled. She was a welcome dance partner at Manhattan Dance Club, Tacoma Elks, Abbey Ballroom and other ballroom dancing venues. She loved music.

We remember Florence and Paul as great neighbors to Jerry's parents, Jack and Ann Halverson and their family. Card parties that lasted well into the wee hours were so much fun, as well as some memorable camping trips. Our sincere sympathy to the whole Grimit family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Thanks for letting me know. Although our families only visited a few times a year I remember our times together. Especially our family camp-outs at the Newaukum River. Deep in the woods and away from city life, living in tents. Fishing, swimming in the ice-cold river. Eating., eating and eating. Gathering around campfires at night telling stories and roasting marshmallows. Dirt, dust and needles and rain-soaked tents. The outhouse made from two fallen logs.! The missing bean pot (taken by a BEAR?) May the good memories like this carry you through the years.
