Flordeliza Clavero Alura's Obituary
A Celebration and Honoring of the life of Flordeliza Clavero Alura, born Feb 26, 1927, will be held on Feb 24, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis Cabrini Church, 5715 108th St SW, Lakewood WA. Interment will follow at Mountain View Funeral Home Memorial Park. After the passing of her parents in her early teens with only a grade school education, she lovingly sacrificed unconditionally with God’s Grace to raise her 5 younger siblings of a family of 7. After the passing of her husband in 1970 during the Vietnam War, she raised her 4 children ages 5 thru 11. She finally attained her G.E.D along with additional college credits. She later found a gratifying career at Boeing fabrication at age 60 and retired at age 70. She then pursued and actualized her childhood dreams of travelling the world after she saw her first airplane as a child in the Philippines in Bolinao, Pangasinan, on the island of Dewey. Flordeliza was preceded by husband Rudolfo, sister Mina and Estrella, and brother Apolonio. She is survived by her siblings, Juan, Miguel, and Fr. Guerrero, sons Robert, Steve, Eddie, daughter Linda, along with 7 grandchildren.
