Flora A. Childress' Obituary
Flora A. Denton Wheeler Childress, born 12-30-1936; went to be in the loving arms of our Lord 2-8-2013, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Flora was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warner Childress and parents Nell and Calvin Denton. She is survived by sons William Wheeler (Sally) and Dave Wheeler (Kitti), daughter Starla Brooks-Knudsen (Joseph), grandsons Jerimi, Kriss, Jevan, Dillon, Patrick, and Ryan, great-grandson Brayden, and great-granddaughter Emily - to be born in April. Flora lived for her children and grandchildren.
She loved collecting dolls, and was a self-made businesswoman. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a memorial service at St Joseph St John Church in Lakewood at 11:30 on February 14, with a Celebration following at the Lakeside Country Club, intersection of Veterans & Pine, at 12:30
