Fern Esther Selles' Obituary
Fern Esther Selles age 100, a longtime Tacoma resident passed away Wednesday July 4, 2018 at her home in Tacoma. Born in Carson City, Nevada to Samuel and Alice (Wilde) McLean, she was a Registered Nurse. She came from quite a musical family and enjoyed playing the banjo, piano and organ. Fern loved and enjoyed all animals and loved to dance with her husband Russell. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel and preceded her in death in 2009. Surviving are two daughters, Sheryl Ledet and Carol Norman both of Tacoma and by other numerous relatives.
She will be missed and is loved by her family and many friends. Family members are currently putting details together to celebrate her life and a more complete life story will be coming.
