Fayetta Darlene Anderson's Obituary
Fayetta Darlene Anderson (74) of Gig Harbor, Washington passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in her home on Saturday June 4th 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born a spirited middle child to her loving parents Harry and Ida Rone on March 20th 1948, she was one of six siblings.
With a heart as big as they come Fayetta dedicated her life serving the community by working for the Tacoma school district. First as an assistant teacher, and then as a school bus driver. She was beloved by all for her sense of humor, compassion, patience, and calming demeanor. Making her the perfect person to work with the special needs children who adored her.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, William Anderson. Her siblings Carolyn Sturtz, and Gary Rone. Her three children; Kim Ferguson, Angela Rone, and Dwayne Taylor. As well as Numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many others who loved her dearly.
Though she leaves a void in the lives of many and will be missed greatly, She left her earthly body at peace, knowing she would be welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior, and will see us all again!
A memorial service will be held at Sunset Bible Church ( 7909 40th Street West, Tacoma,, WA)
at 2pm on Saturday, July 9th, 2022
