It is with immeasurable pain and sadness to announce the sudden passing of Fatima Suzanne Locke. She was only 58 on May 14, 2026
Fatima personified Merriam-Webster's definition of "Decent" -Marked by moral integrity, Kindness, and good will- Her generosity of time and money for others was peerless.
Fatima was born in Victoria, The Republic of Seychelles. August 17, 1967. The day this world became a better place.
Fatima always had a sense of adventure, and curiosity. As a little girl; She wanted to explore other countries, and experience new cultures. At 13, She made her move.
Her first stop was England, Then on to Mililani, Hawaii. It was in Mililani where she finished her teen years and schooling. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication at the University of Hawaii.
Fatima's longing for travel never lessened. She moved to California, and was determined to achieve her childhood dream of becoming an International flight attendant. Her dreams came true in Feb. of 1999. She was accepted with Northwest
Airlines. After 10 years; She changed course and traveled domestic with Southwest Airlines. she was currently in her 17th year with Southwest. Serving 27 years total as a flight Attendant.
Fatima and Alan Kleinheinz met while working a flight together in 2004 at Northwest.Timing wasn't right at that moment in time, but they kept in touch periodically: If not only to swap war stories of the industry. That all changed in July 2012, The Timing was right, their friendship grew to love, and they have been together since.
Fatimas Flying domiciles have included, Detroit, NewYork, San Francisco, Oakland, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Fatima and Alan kept homes in both Seattle, and Las Vegas. Fatima would tolerate watching the Seattle Seahawks with Alan; only to become one of their biggest 12's.
Fatima's very best friend of over 40+ years was Tonia Simpson. Those two traveled all of life's ups and downs together. Tonia was Fatima's greatest champion and confidant. There was no greater loyalty than that shared by these two.
Fatima is preceded in death by her Father, Georges Mamode Khan, Mother, MarieCeleste Eustachian, Brother Georges E. Khan, Sister Therese Khan, and brother Emmanuel A. Khan.
She is survived by her Big Brother Roger I. Khan, Sister Georgette Robert, and Brother Jules Robert. And so many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
I've lost you sweetie pie...and it hurts,.....it really really hurts.
