Evelyn Marguerite Haynes' Obituary
Evelyn was born in Centerville, SD on April 16, 1913, and passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in Kent, WA. She met her husband of 55 years, Harald there and moved to Washington in 1947, where he served his last duty in the Army. They moved to Lakewood in 1956 and she lived there until 2001. She was active in Eastern Star, becoming a Worthy Matron, and participated in fundraising with organizations such as Orthopedic Guild. She was an excellent seamstress and homemaker, raising two son, Richard, who preceded her in death in March 2006, and Harald (Bud), who lives in Renton, WA with his wife Janice. Her other family members are her grandson Daniel and his wife Cheryl, and great-grandsons Jeremiah, and Brian, her granddaughter, Cynthia Addis and her great-grandson Colin and DickÂ's wife Joanne and her granddaughter Stephanie and her husband, Timothy Holman. A memorial will be held at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church at Petrovitsky&Sweeney Road on October 29, 2006 at 2 PM. Please call the church at (425) 432-4399 or visit mvpc.net for directions.
