in honor of Evelyn.

I remember Ms. Jackson very fondly.
Me and my now boyfriend who sat next to each other the entire year in Ms Jackson's 7th grade class together in Woodbrook middle school in class of 96/97. Him and I always make Ms. Jackson references, using her punch lines to each other as our own little inside joke.
"You got the mitigated goal." Lol
Ms Jackson ment business about our education and for that, I am very grateful. I didn't know seeing this memorial would bring me to tears as I am writing this. Its been ages ago, almost 20 years since I was her student. She definitely made an impact on us students and she will be missed and of course thought of regularly.

You were an amazing teacher Mrs. Jackson! You made a wonderful mark on every student you had including me! I still have the birthday folder you made for me during my time at Stewart Middle School🥰 I even use your phrases with my students: “the nerve, the mitigated gaul”:joy: you are one of I kind & will forever be in my :heart:

Ms. Jackson...my sixth grade teacher! You have been on my mind heavy lately, Im in shock to find out of your passing. Thank you for everything! I still remember when you would bang your wooden plaque on your desk to quiet the classroom, and how you would say "Im serious as a black heart attack" Ive never forgotten that, heck you got me saying that lol...thank you for all the great memories

My sincerest regards to the family. I'm so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing, especially at such a late date. She was an influential force in my life, and in cultivating character in my children.

Evelyn was a kind, funny woman. As a school teacher she was always concerned about her students future. She put the needs of other people above her own. I wish Evelyn had gotten the chance to enjoy her retirement. She will be missed. Rest in Peace.
