Reed (103)Evalina was born April 20, 1902 and went home to be with the Lord January 27, 2006.A life long resident of Tacoma, Evalina was preceded in death by her husband Norman, daughter Lavina and three granddaughters. She is survived by her two sons, Allan & Georgie LaPlante, Llewellyn & Dorothy LaPlante; four daughters, Aileen & Ferd Kanton, Yvonne & Norman Dintleman, Delores & Elvin Smith, Joan McClements; godson, Lyle Tatum; 29 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, 36 great-great-grandchildren and counting, through which her legacy lives on.Evalina lived a full and colorful life. She credited her longevity to always being curious. Rest in peace. We love you.Viewing will be from 3 Â- 9 pm Monday at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Pierce Fire Dept, Midland Station or to the Hospice House in honor of Evalina Reed.
