Evalani Yockman's Obituary
Evalani Yockman Evalani "Nana" passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving Ohana. Nana grew her wings to be with her father Edward, mother Elda, and sister Elaine. She was born in Honolulu, HI Dec. 30, 1951. Nana loved her family and friends unconditionally. Her zest for life showed in every path that she walked. Her smiles and laughter lit up a room like fireworks on the 4th of July. She collected thousands of owls, and could crochet anything you asked for but her favorites were holiday items. Nana leaves behind her daughter Elda Nalani and her granddaughters Krystalani and Jaydyn, brothers Joe (Judy), Ed, Eric, and Elvan (Susan), sisters Edwina (Smitty), Erainer, Elvia (Dennis), and Eileen (Sam), many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, 2 aunts, Sue Obado, Lanai, HI, and Mary Tom, Maui, HI, and uncle Rudy (Sheila) Tabelisma, Los Angeles, CA, and her dear forever sistas, Faye, Debbie, and Suzette. Nana was a member of Lakes Moose Lodge #1865, where she made numerous lifelong friends. She was also a member of the SGI-USA. A memorial will be held at 1:30 PM Dec. 7, 2014 at the Soka Gakkai International-USA Tacoma Buddhist Center, 1610 Mildred St., Tacoma WA 98465.
