Eva Evelyn Hammer
Eva Evelyn Hammer Our mother was born on March 24, 1913 in Tacoma. She lived on McKinley Hill until she went to school at State College of Washington (WSU). She graduated in 1941 with a Bachelor of Education and was a member of the Crimson W Honorary Society. Her first three years of teaching took place in Wenatchee, Washington. In 1946, she married Arthur R. Hammer (who preceded her) and they spent over 50 years together. She became a homemaker and achieved many of her dreams. She displayed greatness in her perseverance, hope, and love. Those remaining behind are her sons, Stan (Libby) Hammer, Norm (Judy) Hammer, and Bruce (Christina) Hammer; her grandson David (Jessie) Hammer, and her great-grandson Grayson William Hammer. Viewing will be at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
