Eva Lee Davis' Obituary

Eva Lee Barnhill Davis was born August 19, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late John Henry Barnhill and Laura Polite Barnhill. She was called to eternal rest on Monday, December 4, 2017, in Tacoma, Washington.
She confessed her belief in Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she served as a committed choir member.
She was educated in Dougherty County Schools (GA) and was a graduate of Central Washington State College. She was a devoted employee of the Tacoma Public Schools, retiring after 20 years. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late, Rev. Arthur Davis, Jr.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Annie Laura Barnhill Melton; her husband, Arthur Davis, Jr.; her daughter, Rosemary Reba Davis Jones and her niece Annie Sue Crayton Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters Joan B. Belvin (Charles); Frances L. Davis and Jackie Davis. She also leaves behind five grandchildren Anthony D. Belvin (Reeshemah); LaTasha M. Jones, LaKenya A. Jones, Arjoylyn E. Belvin and LaKeisha S. Jones. Four great-grandchildren: Sirrone M.A. Newbern, Amin Brassell, Simona Newbern and Alexander Belvin. Nephew George Williams. Great-nephews Kevin and Calvin Williams and Great-niece Kara Williams Gaisie. She also leaves many other family and friends to cherish her memory.
